A STRAY firework caused a fire in Padgate last night, Thursday.
Crews were called to the incident on Westland Drive at around 9.50pm.
It consisted of a fire involving garden fencing.
Crews extinguished the blaze using a hose reel jet.
According to a Cheshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson, the fire is believed to have been caused by a stray firework.
One fire engine from Warrington attended the scene.
