THE Met Office has revealed whether it will snow in Warrington following reports of a icy weather hitting England this month.

A spokesperson for the Met Office said that its long-range forecasts suggests that high pressure will prevail across the UK in the next week or so, with temperatures expected to be around or a little above average.

In Cheshire, the forecaster says it is expecting daytime maximum temperatures in November to be around 10C, with the nighttime minimum temperatures expected to be around 4C.

These conditions are a ‘little’ too warm for snow, so it is unlikely we will see it in Warrington this month.

However conditions are expected to change towards the end of the month.

A spokesperson told the Warrington Guardian: “Later in the month, we may something of a change to a slightly more unsettled spell, perhaps with wetter and windier conditions towards the end of the month with low pressure arriving in the north west.

“For now, though, confidence is low, and there is always the possibility that high pressure could shift to be more focussed across central England, bringing further dry, settled conditions.

“Temperatures through much of the month are expected to be near or above average. There may be some short-lived colder spells, given the time of year, however there are no particularly strong indications that these will be prolonged or significant.”
