A SECURITY guard from Fearnhead died after an overdose, an inquest has heard.
Michael Tirebuck, who lived in Fearnhead, died on May 25 at his home address aged 59.
The security guard, who was born in St Helens, was found deceased after he was last seen five days prior on May 20.
On Wednesday, an inquest was formally opened at Cheshire Coroners Court.
Senior Coroner for Cheshire, Jacqueline Devonish, told the court that died after taking an overdose.
His cause of death was attributed to cardiorespiratory failure, hypertensive heart disease, ischaemic heart disease and cardiovascular arrhythmia and an overdose.
Mr Tirebuck’s cause of death was determined to be suicide, and his inquest was formally closed.
“All that’s left me for me to do is extend my condolences to the family,” said Ms Devonish.
