AN INQUEST has been opened into the death of a 20-year-old who died at Warrington Hospital after ‘medical treatment concerns’.
Declan Mather, who lived in Great Sankey, died at Warrington Hospital on October 21 aged 20.
At Cheshire Coroners Court on Wednesday, the inquest into his death was formally opened.
The court heard that the 20-year-old had a history of medical issues since his birth, and that the inquest into his death had been requested due to ‘medical treatment concerns.’
Senior Coroner for Cheshire, Jacqueline Devonish, formally opened the inquest into his death, which will be heard on March 26, 2025.
