A popular garden is set to sparkle for the festive season with a new light show.
The RHS Glow event at RHS Garden Bridgewater in Salford will kick off on November 27, offering a 1,440-metre illuminated route and new installations.
Among the attractions for 2024, attendees can interact with touch-responsive giant petunias, traverse twinkling yew domes, and walk under a star arch.
The trail will also feature swirling snowflake lights, glittering tunnels, and Christmas trees adorned with fairy lights, accompanied by festive tunes selected by visitors.
The Marshmallow Station, near Garden Cottage, will allow visitors to toast gourmet marshmallows over a fire pit.
The Midnight Gardener's new interactive light juggling show will provide entertainment with a mix of effects.
One of the standout features is the 'And Then I Slipped' installation, a shining, interactive waterfall of light, crafted by the award-winning art studio I Don't Love You Anymore.
Fans of traditional winter tales can look forward to highlights from 'Jack Frost – A Winter Story', a new musical collaboration written and narrated by gardener and broadcaster Alan Titchmarsh, with music by composer Debbie Wiseman.
The story of Jack Frost will be part of the illuminated garden tour.
Visitors can also indulge in festive treats and hot dishes at the Bridgewater Café, with hot chocolate (with an option for Bailey's) or mulled wine available at the Shepherd’s Hut.
The Stables Café will offer Italian-themed dishes including pizza, arancini, and cannoli.
The RHS Glow event will run until December 30, providing a winter wonderland experience.
