AN UNATHORISED encampment has been reported at an award-winning garden centre in Warrington.
Two caravans have arrived at Bents Garden Centre, on Warrington Road in Glazebury.
This is according to an unauthorised encampment log for Cheshire and Warrington, which is operated by Cheshire West and Cheshire Council.
The log states that the group arrived on Friday on the privately owned land.
Bents is a popular garden centre and award-winning family-run business that began in 1937.
This latest unauthorised encampment comes after Warrington Borough Council axed its plan to establish a traveller site at the former Kenyon Lane Nurseries site near Croft.
Cheshire Police have now attended the garden centre and liaised with the landowner.
