A CANNABIS dealer has been jailed after not learning his lesson the first time.
Joseph Booth previously received a suspended prison sentence for possessing cannabis with the intention to supply it.
But this time, the 33-year-old was put behind bars.
Booth appeared before Liverpool Crown Court last week after pleading guilty to possessing cannabis with intent to supply and possessing a bladed article in public.
The offences took place on Hale Street in Orford in December 2022.
Booth, who was driving a BMW at the time, was found with 20 bags of female flowering cannabis heads as well as several packages of sweets laced with TBC.
Officers also found a knife in his car.
He was handed 14 months in prison for the offences.
Booth, of Cadishead, Irlam, is no stranger to prison, after having served a 16-month prison sentence for breaching a restraining order by calling a woman more than 400 times in 72 days.
He also left his victim needing to undergo plastic surgery after he launched a hairbrush at her face.
