A DATE has been confirmed for the Christmas lights switch on in Stockton Heath.
The tradition takes place each year on Victoria Square, ensuring the village is lit up for the festive season.
This year, the switch on will take place on Sunday, December 1, from 4.30pm.
Birchwood Brass Band will be there and children from St Thomas’ CE Primary School and Stockton Heath Primary School will sing the community into the festive season.
This year, there will also be marshals in attendance to make sure everyone is kept safe.
“We hope to see you all there to start a very festive December,” a spokesperson for Stockton Heath Parish Council.
Parish council chair Laurence Murphy will turn the lights on.
