Three community support workers have been shortlisted as finalists in the Great North West Care Awards.
Laura Cooper, Sam Smith, and Donna Reardon, who work at Belong at Home Warrington, have been recognised for their passion, dedication, and performance.
They are now in the running for the Dignity in Care, Palliative/End of Life Care, and Home Care Coordinator awards, respectively.
These nominations celebrate their efforts in supporting the care village's tenants and those in the local area to live independently.
Belong at Home Warrington's area manager, Nicola Hewitt, said: "We are thrilled to have three nominations for the Great North West Care Awards – to reach this round alone is a massive achievement.
"Many of our team began their careers with us, starting out as support workers and then through training and mentorship, have progressed in seniority.
"We really are empowered with the autonomy to carry out our roles by putting people first and this enables us to provide the best possible care for our customers."
The Great North West Care Awards are an annual event which acknowledge the work of those in the care sector throughout the UK.
Winners from the regional finals in November will advance to the national awards in early 2025.
This recognition follows Belong's recent win at the 2024 HealthInvestor Seniors Housing Awards, where they were praised for their holistic approach to care.
