WARRINGTONIAN Lily Benson remains on track to win Big Brother despite being the most nominated housemate of the series so far.

Lily Benson is a 20-year-old from Warrington who entered the Big Brother House when it started at the beginning of October.

The Chinese takeaway worker has become popular with some viewers, with many calling her an ‘icon’ for the surprising reason she decided to join the show.

Early on, Lily became the favourite to win, despite the fact that she is the most nominated member of the house, receiving a current total of 12 nominations from her housemates.

On Friday, she avoided eviction once again and received cheers from the crowd outside.

“I knew you wouldn’t go today, I knew you’d get a cheer,” Ali told Lily.

“Now, what do we take form this, you’re loved just the way you are. Do not doubt it ever again because I can’t keep shouting it at you.”

However, it hasn’t all been good news for Lily as the house has once again been reverted to basic rations after rule breaks.

“Housemates, I’m very disappointed,” said Big Brother.

“Once again, you’ve broken the rules. After the vampires and villagers shopping task I gave you very clear instructions.

“The luxury shopping was only for the winning group of vampires, not for the losing villagers.

“Any villagers caught eating luxury items would mean the whole house reverts to basic rations.”

Several housemates broke this rule, including Lily who ate cornflakes, pizza, and an entire large bar of chocolate despite being on the losing team.

“I am sorry, it was selfish,” Lily told her fellow housemates.

As a new week begins in the Big Brother House, Lily has once again the bookies favourite to win the show after being overtaken by Emma last week.

According to online betting guide, Olbg, Lily’s odds sit at 5/2 for her to be crowned the winner, with a probability of 29 per cent. Not far behind her is Emma at 7/2, and Khaled at 9/2.

Big Brother is broadcast every day, except Saturday, at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
