AN Orford family pull out all the stops each year as Halloween rolls around, making their home a haunted walk through for neighbours with jumps and surprises around every corner.
Jamie Dolphin and his wife Kadie have been decorating their house for the spooky season for more than a decade, but five years ago they decided to turn their spectacular display into a way of raising money for the children's toy appeal at Warrington Foodbank.
And the parents-of-five did not disappoint this year, with terrifying figures lurking from every nook and cranny inside their family home on Monks Place.
Along with the added effect of a smoke machine to create an even more eerie atmosphere.
Speaking on where the charitable tradition began, Jamie said: "My wife, Kadie, has collected for the last five years for the children's toy appeal at Warrington Foodbank.
"We have been doing Halloween decorations for over 12 years here and at our old address in Barrymore avenue, Latchford.
"The last few years we have ramped up the craziness and had everyone walk through the house to scare them."
The 40-year-old explained how this year was actually more 'low key' than previous years due to him preparing for major heart surgery next week.
He described the task of putting the display together a 'team effort' with his neighbour Kelvin Brown coming out to help the couple each year.
"Each year we add a new piece to the decorations which is now overtaking the majority of the loft space," Jaime continued.
"Next year, health permitted, we will be back bigger and better that last year."
"I'm just the creator it's really my wife's passion," he added.
So far this year the couple have raised an fantastic £240 for the charity which they will use to buy presents for the appeal.
Mum, Kadie, goes 'above and beyond' to collect toys and raise money for the local foodbank each year, even putting on a Christmas light display to help raise more donations during the festive season.
"She goes above and beyond to make sure she takes as much as she can to the charity, driving round picking up gifts that people want to donate whilst doing a degree to become a midwife and looking after our five children," Jamie told.
He added that as well as the 'driving force' being to raise money for charity, the couple are also self-confessed 'big kids' that just love Halloween.
And their love for fright night has transferred onto their five children who also adore the holiday as much as them and help to create the spooky spectacle each year.
