A BEAUTIFUL tabby cat is looking for a new home after being abandoned with her son in a carrier.
Cats Protection League, based on Elizabeth Drive in Padgate, have issued an appeal to find a loving home for a gentle cat.
Cinders, a tabby cat, was abandoned along with her son, Sparkler, who has since been adopted.
“Cinders and Sparkler were sadly found by some of our volunteer fosterers abandoned in a carrier by their Cats Protection van,” said Emma Harris, deputy centre manager.
“A note explained they were mother and son and that their owner could no longer care for them.”
The beautiful cat is still looking for her dream home, especially as Bonfire Night approaches.
Fireworks can be distressing for pets, and for sensitive cats like Cinders it can be even more unsettling.
Cats Protection are hoping that someone can open the doors to their loving home for Cinders.
“She has a grade two heart murmur which we are happy to provide further information on to any potential adopters,” said Emma.
“Cinders is quite reserved and understandably still adjusting to centre life but has started to come out of her shell.
“With a little patience and understanding, she’ll make a wonderful companion in a quiet home.”
If you think your home could be what Cinders is looking for, you can apply here or call 03000 120612.
