POIGNANT crocheted remembrance displays have been put up in south Warrington.
The displays, which consist of knitted/crocheted remembrance poppies, have been created by Park Appleton Women’s Institute.
They have been put up outside of St Cross Church in Appleton Thorn and St Matthew’s Church in Stretton.
And a post box topper can also be found outside of Appleton Parish Hall where the group meets.
Park Appleton Women’s Institute has been known to brighten the day of many residents through its crocheting and knitting.
It hosts various social events such as a craft group, a book club and two walking groups.
