A MAJOR road in Warrington has closed following a crash which saw a car collide with a garden wall.
Cheshire Police officers attended the scene on Thelwall New Road following reports of a collision at around 9.44am this morning, Tuesday.
A spokesperson said: "The collision involved one vehicle which had collided with a garden wall.
"There are believed to be reports of minor injuries."
Thelwall New Road was closed following the crash and the closure remains in place, meanwhile the car was recovered from the scene at 10.50am.
Warrington’s Own Buses has confirmed on X, formerly Twitter, that diversions are in place.
The bus company stated that the 5 and 5X bus routes have been diverted currently due to the road being closed.
A spokesperson for Warrington’s Own Buses added: “Services will be operating via Knutsford Road onto Stockport Road, omitting Thelwall.”
