WARRINGTON-based coffee shop chain The Coffee House will open its 27th store, it has confirmed.
The Coffee House is an independent coffee shop chain which began in Warrington in 2011 and where it still roasts its beans.
It has confirmed it will open its second Wirral venue in the Cherry Tree Shopping Centre in Liscard.
Founded in 2011, by brothers Chris and Stephen Shelmerdine, The Coffee House describes itself as a “community hub where locals can come together to enjoy fresh, handmade food and locally roasted coffee”.
Their signature house blend coffee is roasted in-house in Warrington with all food made fresh daily in their central production facility, including the bread, baked fresh each morning.
Already this year it has opened stores in Cockhedge and Stockton Heath.
Co-founder Chris Shelmerdine said: "Our vision has always been to offer more than just great coffee—we want to bring life back to local high streets and shopping centres, especially during a time when many are struggling to thrive.
“We’re passionate about creating welcoming spaces where people can relax, connect, and enjoy high-quality food and drinks.
“By opening in Wallasey, we're not only expanding into the Wirral, but we're also playing a part in revitalising the local area, offering new job opportunities and a place for the community to come together and enjoy a good cup of coffee."
