A newly refurbished office space in Warrington will provide an auditorium and social hub for the public.
Wates Group, a family-owned development, building, and property maintenance company, has invested £1 million into this project.
The 'state-of-the-art' building in Great Sankey includes a 40-seat auditorium and a central social hub with a tea point, breakfast bar, dining area, and lounge with sofas.
All these facilities will be available for community use.
As part of the refurbishment project, Wates donated existing furniture to schools and charities such as Tomorrow's Women (Wirral), Liverpool Lighthouse, Arnot St Mary CofE School, and Overton Nursery and Pre-School Centre.
The project also provided practical experience for two Wates trainees, and local suppliers were prioritised whenever possible.
The two-floor building has been transformed into a 'flexible, modern, and sustainable' workspace.
This aligns with Wates' mission of reimagining places for people to thrive.
Scott Camp, managing director of Wates Smartspace, Wates' fit-out and refurbishment business said: "I’m incredibly proud of our teams work in refurbishing our Warrington office.
"At Wates, we reimagine places for people to thrive and I’m delighted that this new space will be available for the local community to use for events and gatherings."
