DRIVERS are being warned of delays on the M56 after a crash closed two lanes.
The crash happened on the westbound carriageway between junction nine, for the M6 and Warrington, and junction 10, for Northwich and Warrington, on Sunday, October 27.
Lanes one and three are currently closed as the incident is dealt with, with traffic in lane two moving slowly.
Traffic behind is queuing as far back as Lymm Interchange.
A National Highways North-west spokesman said it expects the incident to be cleared between 10.30 and 10.45pm.
