IT is a great start to the week for residents of a WA postcode today, Monday.
Those who play the People’s Postcode Lottery and live on WA10 6BZ are celebrating this morning.
This comes after their postcode was named the winner in the community trust draw.
Residents of a section of Rainford Road, in the Dentons Green area of St Helens, will scoop a prize of £1,000.
Each month, people can sign up with their postcode and pay £12 a month to be in with a chance of winning the draw.
Prizes are announced every day of the month, with £1,000 prizes for 20 different postcodes a day – and a lucky few winning the jackpot of £30,000.
The People’s Postcode Lottery supports a wide range of charities and causes across the UK and globally.
Around 33 per cent of each ticket helps support good causes, and the lottery has raised more than £1.3billion for charity so far.
