A NEW café has just opened in Warrington and will be serving up a delicious Christmas afternoon tea during the festive period.
Fairfield Café opened its doors at the site of The Old School, on Fairfield Street, last Tuesday (October 8).
Owner Darren Evans opened the eatery following the success of his other popular lunch spot, Bruche Café-bar situated in Paddington.
Detailing what the new café has in store for residents in the local area, Darren said: “We serve a breakfast menu and from 12pm serve a lunch menu to.
“We open Tuesday to Friday 9am to 3pm and Saturday 9am to 1pm.
“With the success of Bruche Café-bar I was presented with the opportunity to take the space at The Old School and make it my own.
“Although I expect the first few months to be slow, I’m confident it will be as successful as Bruche.”
The owner gave an exciting insight into what is in store for the coming months at the café, adding: “We will also be offering Christmas afternoon tea this year as well as an afternoon with Santa on the run up to Christmas.”
Based at the Old School, the café fills one of the many spaces at the Fairfield community centre which works as a non-profit charity.
The charity is home to various workshops, businesses and charities including a dance school, Zumba classes, a tutoring business and Warrington VIP blind centre.
Mr Evans added: “The Old School is a great place and has plenty going on so I would recommend everyone taking a look to see if there’s anything you may like to be a part off.”
