TWO fire engines were dispatched to the scene of a fire involving an oil tank.
The two vehicles, from Warrington and Birchwood fire stations, were called out at around 1.10pm yesterday afternoon, Saturday.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service received reports of the blaze on Padgate Lane.
On arrival, crews found that the fire involved a disused oil tank which was found to have a residual amount of oil inside.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire, before monitoring the temperature of the tank until it was sufficiently cooled.
