A FLEET of Goods-to-Person robots has been deployed in a Warrington warehouse.

Geekplus, a leader in mobile robots and smart logistics solutions, has introduced the robots in THG Fulfil's Omega facility in Great Sankey.

The technology helps increase the performance of the warehouse by managing palletised items of any size.

It also enhances efficiency, customer satisfaction, and scalability, while providing real-time data and analytics.

Simon Houghton, Geekplus's director of sales, UKI-EMEA, said: "The versatility of our suite of mobile robot solutions, adapted to all kinds of scenarios and industries - in this case pallet movement - makes it possible for our customers to meet their business objectives."

THG Fulfil is THG Ingenuity's fulfilment and courier management solution.

They have incorporated the Geekplus solution into their existing warehouse automation setup to cater to the growing trend of late-night shopping.

They offer a 1 a.m. next day delivery cut-off service for their brands including ESPA and LOOKFANTASTIC, along with third-party clients.

Tom Killeen, COO of THG Fulfil, said: "Automation plays an influential role in fulfilment.

"The extension of our automation solution to include Geekplus enables us to add further value to our fulfilment capabilities, while reducing risk, complexity and improving efficiency.

"The flexibility Geekplus provides us gives us the ability to serve a wider range of brands and retailers while ensuring operational excellence not only for them but for their end consumers."

With the inclusion of THG Fulfil, Geekplus now has 19 customers in the UK and Ireland region.
