An European wrestling champion is set to come to Warrington.
On November 9, French wrestling sensation Jacob Vadocq, known as 'The Amish Superstar', will participate in a family-friendly event organised by Off The Page Promotions.
The event, dubbed 'All Hell Can’t Stop Us Now', will take place at St Benedict’s Social Club in Orford.
Mr Vadocq, famous for his comedic displays in the ring, will bring his unique style to the Warrington audience.
Off The Page owner Ben McCurry said: "We're so excited to bring this huge European star to the town of Warrington.
"We pride ourselves on being not just great wrestling, but great family entertainment.
"We're a little different, but we like to think that everyone who comes to our shows leaves with a smile on their face, and that's exactly what Jacob brings to the ring."
The event will feature a range of wrestling talent from the North West, including OTP Champion Max Brooker, Helen Charlotte Campbell, Lucy Sky, the popular group VGS, and the 'legendary' Kevin Lloyd.
Matches announced so far include Max Brooker versus Liam Carr for the OTP Championship, with Carr making a comeback from a tour of Canada, and a grudge match between rivals Helen Campbell and Lucy Sky.
These storylines are expected to intensify as OTP approaches its big event at Parr Hall next year on August 9.
Mr McCurry said: "We're fully committed to building wrestling back up in Warrington.
"We remember when wrestling was regularly at Parr Hall for all the family and we would love to bring those days back."
Off The Page Promotions, which started up in 2023, aims to reignite the tradition of professional wrestling in Warrington.
They focus on creating stories, developing big characters, and presenting wrestling action suitable for all ages.
