A florist and its sister company are hoping to be crowned the best in the north nest.
La Beau Fleurs and Weddings by La Beau Fleurs, both based in Woolston, have been announced as regional finalists in the floristry category of The Wedding Industry Awards 2025.
The awards aim to recognise excellence in the wedding industry.
Owner and principal designer, Rachel Peers, said: "Thanks to all our wonderful wedding couples who have voted for us over the last few months.
"This is such an achievement and hasn’t come easily.
"This is 10 years of hard graft in a relentless industry.
"Creating hundreds of weddings and ensuring that each and every one of my couples get the very best experience possible."
The companies are now vying for regional glory in November, which would secure them a place in the national finals in January 2025.
Mr Peers said: "Each of our wedding clients who voted took the time to answer a series of questions about every aspect of their experience and this makes the achievement even more meaningful."
The Wedding Industry Awards founder, Damian Bailey, said: "This year’s regional finalists are clearly at the top of their game.
"Our awards are unique as they are voted by recent wedding couples and it’s not the total number of votes that companies receive that leads to success.
"Instead, we focus on the quality of the feedback they get from eligible couples, amongst other things.
"Larger companies and talented individuals compete on a level playing field and the best wedding suppliers always rise to the top."
Ms Peers added: "It’s been a great year for Weddings by La Beau Fleurs and on November 12 I’ll attend an awards night with industry creatives from across the North West and I cannot wait to celebrate with them.
"If I win or lose the regional final, I still feel like a winner and am proud of how my business has grown from old little me in my shoe box of a studio at home 10 years ago."
