SEVEN weeks of roadworks will start in Lymm next month.

Rushgreen Road will be affected, and the roads surrounding, when work starts on November 4.

It will allow Energetics to install a high voltage supply to the new Bellway Homes site.

Closures will be on Rushgreen Road from its junction with Woodyatt Way to its junction with Dane Bank Road East; Dane Bank Road East from its junction with Rushgreen Road to its junction with Dane Bank Road; Dane Bank Road from its junction with Dane Bank Road East to its junction with Whitbarrow Road.

They will be in place as and when signed.

Access will be under the control of the relevant contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative routes will be: Rushgreen Road via A6144 including Birchbrook Road, Mill Lane, Bent Lane, Paddock Lane, Warburton Lane, Manchester New Road, Manchester Road and Harboro Road and via the A56 including Manchester Road, Church Street, Dunham Road, Higher Lane, Church Road and vice versa; Dane Bank Road East/Dane Bank Road via Brookfield Road, Eagle Brow, The Cross, New Road and vice versa.
