A DRIVER has suffered a head injury following a crash involving an HGV on the M6 in Warrington.
Cheshire Police officers attended the scene of a collision at around 11.34am this morning, Tuesday.
This was after receiving reports of a collision on the M6 southbound exit slip road at junction 20 to the M56 eastbound.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: “The collision involved one lorry which had overturned. The driver is believed to have suffered a minor head injury.”
National Highways reported that the exit slip road was closed while emergency services attended the incident.
A recovery operation was also was carried out.
The road remains closed due to debris on the carriageway.
