A SMALL business owned by a Warrington resident has received an award from a Dragons’ Den star.
Wreaths of Cheshire was founded by Lauren Orme from Westbrook in 2020.
Throughout the first lockdown, Lauren started to make artificial wreaths for her own front door.
She shared these pictures on social media and from here, she started to receive requests from not only friends and family, but from people living in Cheshire.
This led to the mum-of-two founding Wreaths of Cheshire.
Lauren’s business specialises in creating artificial floral designs for all seasons and occasions.
She uses ‘the finest quality’ silk flowers and foliage to give a realistic look and feel.
Now, Wreaths of Cheshire has been recognised by Theo Paphitis, a dragon on BBC One’s Dragons’ Den.
Last weekend, the business was awarded a Small Business Sunday Award.
Talking to the Warrington Guardian about this recognition, Lauren said: “I am so grateful to win the #SBS Small Business Sunday award this week and also extremely grateful for Theo recognising my business and selecting me as one of his chosen winners.
“Running a small business can be hard but moments like this make it all worthwhile.
“Lastly, my dream wouldn’t be a reality without all of my amazing and loyal customers so thank you for all your continued support.”
