Heavy traffic and lane closure on M62 due to accident (Image: National Highways)
TRAFFIC is 'heavy' and one lane has been closed on the M62 in Warrington following an accident.
Lane one of four is closed along the westbound carriageway between junction 12 M60 J12 (Eccles Interchange) to junction 11 A574 Birchwood Way (Birchwood) this afternoon, Monday.
This is following an accident on the motorway.
Traffic is currently heavy due to the lane being closed.
National Highways predict delays to continue until the incident is cleared at approximately 5pm.
