AS THE dark nights draw in, and the colder months approach it’s time to start thinking about plans for Bonfire Night.
Every year, various firework displays take place across Warrington, lighting up the towns skies and this year will be no exception.
Plenty of places have already announced their Bonfire Night events and fireworks displays. So, here’s a list of some of them to help you plan ahead.
Warrington Wolves will be hosting a spectacular fireworks display at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
The stadium will celebrate Bonfire Night in style on Saturday, November 2 and will even launch the teams 2025 kit during the event too.
The event is sponsored by Warrington Borough Council and doors will open at 5.30pm, with the fireworks display due to begin at 7pm.
It’s not just the display that people can look forward to, though, as this year’s event is set to be bigger and better than before.
Tickets start at £5 for 16’s and under, £11 for adult members and £13.50 for non-members.
Previous events have sold out, so it’s recommended to buy tickets early to avoid disappointment.
Stockton Heath Scout Centre
Hosted by the Stockton Heath Scouts, this Bonfire Night event is already selling quickly.
Taking place on November 2, the firework and bonfire night will start at 6pm when gates open.
The bonfire is set to start at around 7pm, and the bar will close at 11.30pm.
Tickets are just £5.58 per person.

Gulliver’s World
The theme park in Old Hall will once again host a fireworks display, as well as allow guests to enjoy extra ride rime with extended opening hours.
On November 2, the theme park will be open form midday until 7.30pm, with the magnificent display scheduled to take place at 7.15pm.
The Fireworks Spectacular will be included in the cost of a day ticket to the theme park, which starts at £20 each.
Visitors can also enjoy stage entertainment and food with the ‘Fireworks Feast’ package starting at £29 each.
Partridge Lakes
Partridge Lakes in Culcheth is set to hold not just one, but three fireworks displays next month to celebrate Bonfire Night.
Set to be ‘bigger, brighter and more thrilling’ than ever before, each event will start at 5.30 and run until 10pm on November 2, 3 and 5.
Live music will help elevate the evening, with three different bands lined up including The Kickstarts and The Cave.
Tickets start at £10 for under 16s, who must be accompanied by an adult, and £15 for those over the age of 16.
Spooky World
Apple Jacks Adventure Farm in Stretton will be hosting a firework display on Tuesday, November 5.
Visitors can arrive from 6.30pm ahead of the display at 7.45pm and stay on site until 11pm.
Those under 15 music be accompanied onto the site and into attractions by a ticket holder over the age of 18, and one adult is required for very group of five teens.
Tickets for the fireworks and bonfire start at £27 each, or £37 for fast-tack admission.
The Station House
The Padgate restaurant and bar on Station Road South will be combing Halloween and Bonfire Night this year.
Starting at 6pm on November 2, guests can arrive in fancy dress and win prizes for their costumes.
A bonfire, firework display, food and live music await, and ticket sales will help raise money for Longbarn Park, with money from food and rinks sales going to Padgate Foodbank.
Tickets are £3 for children and £5 for adults and are expected to sell-out.
Penketh Primary School
The primary school, which is on Consiton Avenue, has been holding firework displays for Bonfire Night for the past 40 years, and this year is no exception.
This year it will take place on November 2, and the event will start at 6pm.
Tickets can only be purchased via the school and will not be sold online.
Lymm Round Table
Back again this year, Lymm Round Table will be hosting a firework display on Saturday November 9 at Cherry Tree Primary School.
Doors will open at 6pm ahead of the 6.45pm kid’s fireworks display. The main firework display is due to start at 8pm.
Catering outlets, music and fun for all ahead will be included in the event, and all profits go to charity and community groups.
Tickets start at £7 for children under 16, and £14 for adults. Under 3s can enter for free.
