A HOME that has been a constant source of anti-social behaviour has been closed down by police.
Cheshire Police has been granted permission by the magistrates’ court to lock down the address in question, on Finsbury Close in Sankey Bridges.
The move follows cooperation with people living in the area whose lives have been blighted by anti-social behaviour, including drug dealing.
Residents of the property, which has been boarded up, will not be able to return for the next three months while the closure order is in place.
The force’s Warrington Police team said: “Due to ongoing complaints of anti-social behaviour, including drug dealing, officers from the west beat team have secured a closure order.
“This is for an address on Finsbury Close for three months.
“The occupants of the address will not be able to enter the address during this period.
“We would like to thank the members of the community who have come forward over the past few months and supported our team in investigating complaints surrounding the property, and the issues raised.”
