A CARE facility where the team go ‘above and beyond’ has been shortlisted for a prestigious award.
Ryfields Village, based in Orford, has been shortlisted in the home care team category in the Great British Care Awards.
With 243 apartments housing those aged over 55, Ryfields Village has been recognised for consistently going above and beyond, 'ensuring each and every service user receives the best possible care while achieving their personal goals'.
Team leader at the facility Lauren Beckett has also been shortlisted in the ‘care planner/assessor’ category.
This is in recognition of her continued dedication to her role and in particular, her care plans and risk assessments.
Sarah Brown, regional manager at Ryfields Village, said: “As a team, we’re delighted to have been shortlisted twice, being given the opportunity to represent both Radis as a business and the care industry within the North West.
“Both Lauren and the entire care team at Ryfields Village are a privilege to work with and I’m extremely proud that they’ve been recognised for their incredible work. As a team we look forward to the awards ceremony next month.”
The Great British Care Awards ceremony will take place on November 9 at Kimpton Clocktower Hotel in Manchester on November 9.
