A Warrington-based amateur theatre company is returning to the stage with a classic musical.
Centenary Theatre Company will perform Disney’s 'The Little Mermaid' at the Brindley Theatre in Runcorn this November.
The production will feature Ariel and Flounder exploring the human world, with Ariel falling in love with Prince Eric.
This turn of events leads Ariel to take drastic measures to leave the merfolk and join the humans.
Centenary Theatre Company, which has been entertaining audiences since 1907, is known for its high-quality productions.
Their recent performance of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s 'The Phantom of the Opera' was a sell-out, receiving glowing reviews from both North West End and NODA.
Though an adult amateur company, Centenary has welcomed children to join this performance of The Little Mermaid.
The young cast members, including Anvi, Archie, Aria, Elizabeth, Emilie, Georgia, Harry, Jacob, Jasmine, Jessica, Jonas, Joseph, Penelope, Pippa, Poppy, Rosie, Sam, Sienna, Sophie, and Zak, have been busy organising fundraising events to support the production.
The Little Mermaid will run from November 12 to 16, 2024, with nightly performances at 7.30pm and a Saturday matinee at 2pm.
Tickets are available at the Brindley Box Office on 0151 907 8360 or online on their website.
