CHISTMAS is officially on its way, as a popular garden centre in Warrington launches its festive experience.
Bents Garden and Home, in Glazebury, marks the start of the festive season every year with the launch of their Christmas experience.
This year was no exception, as guests flocked to the garden centre to explore the decorations and designs carefully curated by staff this morning, Wednesday.
Having been kept under wraps for the past 10 weeks, the opening was the first opportunity for customers to see the new stock.
Every colour and shape of bauble imaginable were polished to perfection alongside hundreds of lights and even some festive wreaths.
There was hardly a spot left in the car park by the time the event began, and customers of all ages gathered in the centre of the shop for the launch.
Singers, dancers and even a gingerbread man joined the fun, setting the mood before Cllr Jean Flaherty and managing director, Matthew Bent, took to the stage to open the winter wonderland.
“Christmas has been a part of our family business for as long as I can remember and it never loses any of its charm of excitement, especially when we’re surrounded by such beautiful and inspirational displays,” said Matthew.
“My sister Rachel and her team of visual merchandisers design and create all of the fantastic displayed we have in store and our joiners help bring these magical scenes to life.
“Once again they have delivered another fantastic wonderland for our customers to enjoy.”
Despite a slight curtain malfunction to reveal the stunning decorations, the opening went off without a hitch as Christmas songs filled the aisles.
Bents’ Winter Food Market is also back, and it is bigger than ever before, with traditional favourites as well as freshly made pizza and fish and chips.
The festive fun doesn’t stop there though, as Father Christmas’s arrival parade will take place at 4pm on November 7.
Not only that, but Festive Wednesdays will take place between November 6 and November 27, and Bents’ Carols by Candlelight on November 21, 29 and December 19.
