QUEUES of people could be spotted at a retail park in Warrington on Saturday.

This was to meet darts sensation Luke Littler, with people travelling from as Birmingham to do so.

The Nuke, who is from Warrington, was at Smyths Toys Superstores at Junction Nine for a meet and greet event to celebrate the launch of his new merchandise.

Fans had the unique opportunity to meet the Premier League and World Series of Darts champion and to take photographs with him.

It was a limited-ticket event that was a complete sell-out.

One parent told the Warrington Guardian: “The atmosphere there was great, everyone was really excited and it was great to see people there of all different ages.

“There were children there from various darts academies which shows the impact that Luke has had locally.”

The event was hosted by world-leading darts manufacturer Target Darts and the product range features including the award-winning Luke Littler Cabinet Set, the Luke Littler Magnetic Dartboard Set for Kids, and the Luke Littler Steel-Tip Brass Darts.
