THREE men have been arrested after an 82-year-old man had his wallet stolen in Warrington.
On Wednesday, September 25, officers were called to reports of a distraction theft in the town centre.
They discovered that the victim, an 82-year-old man, had had his wallet stolen containing £400 cash and a further £1,000 was used to purchase items using the man’s stolen cards.
Following CCTV enquiries, officers identified three suspects who were all circulated as wanted.
The trio were subsequently arrested by officers in Oxfordshire yesterday, Thursday.
The three men, aged 22, 33 and 47, were all collected by officers from Cheshire Police and are currently being questioned in custody.
