POLICE are appealing for a couple to come forward to thank them for helping a collapsed man.
They are said to have given vital first aid to a man in his 40s who collapsed on Dallam Lane, near Tesco, at around midnight on Saturday, September 7.
The man was assisted by the couple until paramedics arrived and transported him to hospital.
Now, Cheshire Police is looking to speak to the couple to thank them personally for their caring actions.
A force spokesman said: “At around midnight on Saturday, September 7, two off-duty officers and a couple went to the aid of a man in his 40s who had suddenly collapsed in Dallam Lane, near Tesco.
“The couple helped to give first aid until the ambulance took him to hospital.
“Warrington local policing unit is looking to identify the couple so that they can thank them for helping the off-duty officers.
“Anyone with information can contact the unit by emailing warrington.lpu@cheshire.police.uk referencing 24000839921.”
