A BIRDS' nest caused a chimney fire in Stockton Heath.
Firefighters were called to Grappenhall Road at 3.40pm on Friday, September 27.
Crews used chimney rods to remove debris from a chimney that had caught fire at a property.

A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “The fire was caused by a birds' nest falling down the chimney after a fire was lit.
“Crews also used thermal imaging cameras to check for hotspots and utilised a snake camera to monitor the loft cavity, where more nesting material was discovered and removed.”
Two fire engines from Lymm and Birchwood dealt with the incident.
