POLICE have made an appeal to find a missing 85-year-old woman who has Alzheimer’s.

Doris Lyon was last seen at the Golden Square Shopping Centre in Warrington at around 4pm today, Friday, September 27.

She has since been spotted in the Orford Lane area at around 4.30pm.

The 85-year-old, who lives in Wigan, has Alzheimer’s and can become confused.

She is described as white, just under 5ft tall, of a slim build, with grey hair, and was wearing brown trousers and a yellow coat/cardigan.

Inspector Steve Bradshaw said: “A number of enquiries are underway to locate Doris and we would like people who have been in or around the area where she went missing or was last seen to get in touch if they have seen her.

“If you also have any CCTV or dashcam footage which may be of use to help find Doris then please do get in touch.”
