The Sheridan Bar, which offers bespoke signature and classic cocktails, is a new addition to the large reception room in the old hall, promising to be the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine after check-in or a relaxing drink in the evening once you’ve had dinner.

Named after playwright and politician Richard Brinsley Sheridan, a friend of the first Lord Crewe and his wife Frances, the bar celebrates this historical connection in a chic, modern ambience.

The £1.2million investment also includes a complete overhaul of the guest bedrooms in the modern wing as well as extensive updates in the mansion building to its state banqueting rooms, most notably the meticulous restoration of the Long Gallery, which overlooks the hotel’s gardens.
