THREE men have been charged following a serious assault in Warrington.
A 29-year-old man was allegedly robbed of his wallet, phone, money, shoes and pants during an attack on Gough Avenue.
This happened at around 4.38am on Friday, September 13.
Cheshire Police have since charged three men from Warrington – Dominic Bennett, 35, Wesley Burton, 40, and Jason Millman, 53.
Both Bennett and Millman, of McKee Avenue, have been charged with assault occasioning grievous bodily harm and robbery, in relation to the aforementioned items.
Bennett, of Marron Avenue, has also been charged with possession of a class A drug, namely cocaine.
Meanwhile, Burton, of Crowe Avenue, has been accused of stealing the victim’s bank cards.
He also faces two counts of common assault of an emergency worker and one count of assault by beating of an emergency worker, all of which are alleged to have happened on Dean Crescent in Warrington, also on September 13.
The trio appeared at Warrington Magistrates Court on Monday, September 16.
They have been remanded in custody and are set to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on October 14.
