SPOOKY World is looking for people to join its scare team for the 2024 season.

The popular scare attraction takes over the fields of Appleton Thorn each Halloween season.

It attracts people from Warrington and afar – including former celebrity couple Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury.

Next Friday, September 20, at 6pm, Spooky World will be holding an open audition for scare actors.

No prior experience is necessary as full training is provided.

“We believe this to be a great opportunity to 16+ year olds in Warrington,” a spokesperson for the attraction said.

Spooky World, set on a 40-acre plot off Stretton Road, launched in 2006 and is renowned for its intense ‘scary at night’ experience.

It is also known for its ‘scary at night’ event which is for those aged 14 and over.

However, there are other events held at the site for those aged 10-14+ and a daytime event for those aged between four and 11.
