A PROLIFIC thief is back in prison after being caught stealing from shops again.
Aaron Isherwood was previously banned from entering any retail premises in Warrington through a court-imposed criminal behaviour order.
The 33-year-old also previously spent time behind bars for stealing Christmas decorations from B&M in Warrington.
He was back before Chester Magistrates’ Court recently after being charged with two counts of theft from a shop.
The defendant, of Bewsey, pleaded guilty to both charges, with magistrates proceeding to sentence him.
Prosecuting the case, Lionel Cope, of the CPS, spoke of how the first incident occurred on August 24.
Isherwood stole three handbags worth £150 from TK Maxx in Golden Square Shopping Centre.
Then on August 31, he pinched three legs of lamb from Iceland in Warrington.
Magistrates remarked that custody was inevitable due to the severity of his offending, given he committed the offences while the subject of a suspended sentence order.
Isherwood, of Lovely Lane, was sentenced to 40 weeks immediate imprisonment.
