Grappenhall village
THE latest work on the cobbled road in the centre of Grappenhall village starts next month.
Work will begin on Church Lane on Monday, October 26 for two weeks.
It will see reconstruction and relaying of the cobbled road surface.
Church Lane will close from its junction with Broad Lane to its junction with Glebe Avenue between 24 hours when needed during school half term and between 9am to 2.30pm during term time.
Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.
The alternative route will be via Church Lane, A56 Chester Road, A50 Knutsford Road, Bellhouse Lane and vice versa or via Broad Lane, Grappenhall Lane, A50 Cliff Lane, A50 Knutsford Road, Bellhouse Lane and vice versa.
