AN artisan food and craft festival is returning to Warrington.

The free and dog friendly Thelwall Food & Craft Market is set to take over a popular location in Thelwall next month.

With traders both indoors and outdoors, it will be the perfect place to have browse on an autumnal afternoon.

Brought to you by The Traders Market, the artisan festival will take place at Thelwall Parish Hall on Sunday, October 6.

Along with arts and crafts, you can expect live music, face painting, an indoor tea room to get yourself a hot brew and plenty of artisan stalls selling foods and gifts.

Not to mention a licensed cocktail bar, The Gin Tin, selling a whole range of cocktails, mocktails and world beers.

A spokesperson from The Traders Market said: “The Thelwall Food and Craft Festival will feature an incredible array of artisan stalls that offer a diverse selection of handmade goods, unique crafts, and one-of-a-kind pieces.

“From bespoke jewellery and vintage finds to locally produced food and drink, there’s something for everyone at this unmissable event.

“The latest addition to the event will be an exclusive indoor English Cream Tea Room hosted by Sweet Indulgence Bakery, serving English breakfast tea and fresh baked scones with clotted cream and strawberry Jam.”

If that doesn’t entice you enough, there will be delicious fresh street food on offer from the popular Cloud 9 so if you were craving some of their fried chicken and noodles you will be in for a treat.

Also a South African street food vendor will be cooking up a storm at their stall on the day.

The event will run from 11am to 4pm and is free entry.
