A HUGE artisan market with 85 stalls is coming to Bents Garden and Home this weekend.

This will be Independent Street’s last artisan market at Bents for the year, and it promises to go out with a bang.

The event, which will include plenty of autumnal treats, will showcase the town’s rich tapestry of artisans and creators.

Alongside the 85 stalls, there will be a street food area and seating, crafting for little ones, face painting, and local musicians performing.

Visitors certainly won’t go hungry as there will be an eclectic mix of cuisines, including local honey, handmade fudge, pies, sausage rolls, and more.

Matthew Bent, managing director at Bents Garden and Home, said:  “We are absolutely delighted to be hosting another artisan market weekend with Independent Street.

“Events like this are a great way to showcase local talent whilst also being a fantastic family day out, discovering the unique selection of foods and crafts on offer.

“We are looking forward to welcoming regular and new visitors to the centre for the Artisan Market.”

Lisa Cowley from Independent Street said: ' We are so excited to be back at Bents. Bents is an outstanding family business which completely echoes that of Independent Street in championing small business and independent artisan small producers.

“There is always a lovely buzz amongst our stall holders and visitors when we showcase at Bents, previous events at Bents have seen hundreds flock to enjoy the weekend.

“Our artisan market is a great addition to the already fabulous offering inside of Bents. Did you know they even have a doggie café with sofas? We can't wait to be back!”

The Bents Artisan Market will be held in the outside car park area by the Pet Café.

It will take place on Saturday from 10am to 4pm and on Sunday from 11am to 4pm.
