POLICE have charged a Warrington woman with a child sex offence in an investigation at a care home.

Detectives from Merseyside Police have confirmed that two people face charges in connection with a probe into staff at a privately-run care home in St Helens.

Lindy Leah, aged 43 and of Capesthorne Road in Orford, has been charged with abuse of a position of trust and causing or inciting sexual activity with a child.

She has also been charged with being concerned in the supply of class B drugs, namely cannabis and ketamine.

Also charged is Morgan Quigley, aged 27 and of Cooperage Close, Toxteth, with being concerned in the supply of ketamine.

In addition, a 49-year-old woman from Warrington has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of ketamine and assisting an offender.

Merseyside Police says she remains on conditional bail pending further enquiries.

Leah and Quigley appeared at Liverpool Magistrates’ Court today, Friday.

Leah has been further remanded into custody and Quigley has been conditionally bailed, with both due to appear before Liverpool Crown Court on October 4.
