ROOM Forty has announced its award-winning baking school will be running classes throughout autumn and winter in several Warrington locations.

The vintage mobile tea emporium, which took Warrington’s Best for Afternoon Tea title in the summer, will offer a range of classes in Penketh, Lymm and Padgate as well as Altrincham.

There will be bread baking for beginners, where attendees can make the award-winning white loaf, soda bread and breakfast breads as well as cinnamon whirls, crumpets and muffins, and Italian breads – focaccia and cheese and walnut bread.

The first class of the new season focussing on Italian breads will be held on Tuesday, September 24.

The popular Christmas breads class will take place on December 10 and 16 and there will be a wreath making workshop in conjunction with Limetree Flowers accompanied by Room Forty’s afternoon tea on Saturday, November 30.

Owner Jen Perry said: “We are thrilled to be announcing our new season of classes.

“They are always great fun and we love teaching people how to bake their own healthy, additive free, delicious bread.

“As soon as you learn how it is easy, and you won’t go back to the commercial stuff.

“It’s cheaper to bake your own!

“Classes are interactive and fun and attendees will leave with skills, and the fruits of their labour.”
