FIREFIGHTERS tackled a car fire in a busy Warrington shopping area during the evening rush hour.
One engine from Warrington fire station rushed to Junction Nine Retail Park, Hawleys Lane, off the A49, at 6.29pm on Friday, August 30.
The crew wore oxygen masks and used a hose to put out the fire.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters used a hose reel jet and a set of breathing apparatus to extinguish a car, which was well alight on arrival.”
