SUPERSTAR Robbie Williams left some fans in tears after surprise rendition of one of his best-known songs at Creamfields.
The former Take That star took to the Daresbury stage over the weekend, leaving fans well and truly entertained.
Robbie Williams performed on the Arc stage at 8pm on Sunday night with Flynn Francis and Tim Metcalfe as part of the electronic collaboration, Lufthaus.
The group founded in 2020 through a series of Zoom calls and voice notes in the shadow of the Covid-19 pandemic lockdowns.
After being inspired by the Berlin music scene, Lufthaus released Visions Volume One last year, which consisted of 10 tracks.
The group took to the stage at the festival, which was attended by more than 70,000 people, on the final day.
Accompanied by strobe lights, flames and confetti, they helped to bring the four-day festival to a close with their hour-long set.
Fans enjoyed some of their original tracks, as well as a surprise rendition of one of Robbie’s best-known songs.
Towards the end of their performance, the 50-year-old star took a detour from the electronic music fans had been enjoying all weekend and performed nostalgic anthem, Angels.
The crowd filled the countryside with the chorus of Robbie’s best-selling single and left some members of the audience in tears.
