CULCHETH High praises its GCSE students for five years of ‘dedication, enthusiasm and hard work’ following results day.

Head of Culcheth, Chris Hunt described a ‘vibrant and exciting’ morning which unfolded as year 11 pupils returned to school for the last time to collect their GCSE results yesterday, Thursday.

He congratulated the cohort on the ‘excellent’ results that came from the day, highlighting how 71 per cent of students achieved a basic standard pass (grade 4) and above in the key subjects of English and maths.

Along with this, 51 per cent of students achieved a ‘strong pass’ (grade 5) and above in the same key subjects.
