THE summer holidays may almost be at an end, but there is one place in Warrington which has extra reasons to celebrate.
Gulliver's World has been named one of the best theme parks in the country by The Telegraph.
Indeed the park, based in Old Hall, came third on the list - beating the likes of Alton Towers and Legoland.
Introducing the list, The Telegraph said: “From vintage rollercoasters to children’s television characters, these are the attractions to visit this summer”.
Here's what The Telegraph said about Gulliver's World
Gulliver’s has outposts across the country, but it’s the original in Warrington that holds the most charm.
Here, guests can find delightfully gaudy coasters such as The Wriggler, and attractions including the spooky ghost house.
This is definitely a park for younger children – before visiting, be sure to watch Gully’s Toon Time, an animated series featuring all the characters you’ll encounter in the park.
